Effective: May 29, 2026 | Updated: August 24, 2026
These Terms are an agreement between you and the developer of Wayo for your use of the App and related services. Please read them carefully, especially the sections on activity and safety and disclaimers and limits of liability. By tapping to agree or by using Wayo, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. The service
Wayo is an iOS app that helps you record walking routes, recover photo memories using capture time and location, and view activity and Health data. Wayo is designed to be local-first: your routes, photos, and Health data are stored on your device by default.
2. Accounts
You can use Wayo without creating an account. Your data is stored locally and does not depend on an account system operated by us.
3. Acceptable use
You agree to use Wayo lawfully and responsibly. You must not:
use Wayo for an activity that violates applicable law or regulation;
reverse engineer, decompile, crack, or otherwise interfere with the normal operation of the App; or
abuse, attack, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to related services or data.
4. Your content and intellectual property
The routes and photos you record through Wayo remain yours. We do not claim ownership and will not use them without your permission.
The App itself, including its interface, code, trademarks, and copy, is protected by intellectual-property law and may not be copied or used without permission.
5. Activity and safety notice
Walking and physical activity involve inherent risks. Exercise within your abilities. If you have a medical condition or feel unwell, consult a qualified medical professional before exercising.
Step counts, distance, heart rate, active energy, and similar information shown by Wayo come from device sensors and Apple Health. They may contain errors, are provided for reference only, and are not medical advice or a diagnosis.
When using Wayo outdoors, follow traffic rules and pay attention to your surroundings and personal safety. Do not let the screen distract you from road or trail conditions.
GPS accuracy depends on the environment. Recorded routes may be inaccurate and must not be used for navigation or precise measurement.
6. Disclaimers and limits of liability
Wayo is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee that it will be error-free, uninterrupted, or suitable for every particular purpose.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for direct or indirect loss resulting from the use of, or inability to use, the App, including physical injury, data loss, or device issues.
7. Changes or discontinuation
We may update, change, or discontinue a feature. If a material change occurs, we will provide notice in an appropriate manner.
8. Privacy
Our collection, use, and protection of personal information is described in the Wayo Privacy Policy.
9. Changes to these Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. For a material change, we will provide a new notice in the App. Your continued use after the change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
10. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China. The parties should first try to resolve a dispute through good-faith discussion. If that does not resolve it, either party may bring the dispute before a court with jurisdiction where the developer is domiciled.
